Summary - Trip to Sholapur for Priya's Wedding

Warning: Not reviewed after I wrote this post, reason - a BIG story, I can not :-(.. Excuse for spell, grametical or any mistakes...relavent Pics will be uploded on different posts following to this...
31st Jan:
To me, a long awaiting trip to Sholapur ended with a grand note with all memorable feelings to cherish…
It was Priya’s wedding, which made the occasion. We all started to Sholapur on Wednesday, 31st Jan night…I took 3 days of leaves (I know, how much I struggled to get this leave... not sure why some people wants to stop me from taking these leaves when I can take them.. but I did).
Our reservation was for a bus at 23:10, but Jyothi Aunty and family arrived at KPHB bus stand by 09 PM. keeping the evening traffic in my mind, we too started a bit early and reached there by 09:30PM, We met them at “Chutneys”, a restaurant where they had some refreshments…
More than anybody else, Sid was eager to meet “Jyothi Paati”…Before we could meet them, whomever he sees coming from the lift, he was saying “Jyothi Paati”…
It was a long waiting for us for the bus… almost for 2 and half hours waiting with long calls to the APSRTC customer care ended when the bus arrived at 23:30PM. All the while Sid was enjoying sitting on the bags, on the road side, listening to the music from the mobiles of his choice in the company of his “Setha and saathi” (Swetha and Swathi).
The bus was terrible with “No Luggage Room”, which made us carry the entire luggage into the bus. Though some of our big big luggages were not fitting in the bus, we got to live with the situation…
Jyothi aunty and family had dinner inside the bus soon after we got in. Rupu prepared daal & rice for them.
The lesion learnt with this bus experience was to take a separate ticket for Sid…because we all struggled carrying him all the night on us… He too never had a proper sleep…
01st Feb:
We reached Sholapur by 05AM. It seems the bus took the other way, while Shailesh, Nishanth were waiting for the bus on one of the other centers…  We reached Ammamma’s home around 05:30 AM.
The bus stop of Sholapur is really stinking. No where I could see the cleanliness… It was not hygienic to spare sometime over there… Raman Uncle told me that he had been there in 1997 sometime when he got married to Jyothi Aunty. Now that he saw that bus-stop after a long time, he could not see any difference. I did not like it frankly…
Except for Ramchandram uncle and Shreyu, almost all present over there… This is the 2nd trip for me to Sholapur... Meeting people who really want our presence of ours, love us, spending time with them is something really special… They all go into sweet memories….
After all got refreshed, Manohar Uncle took us to their home, this is the first time, I had been to their home. We were taken to a hotel in Sholapur which is famous for Idlies… Naral uncle took us there especially because I had been there for the first time… I was thrilled how much they valued me…!!
Afternoon, we had a nice party with Ramesh Babai at home…while Rupu and others had been to Priya’s home…
We had been to the functional hall in the night. Just to see the progress of the things… though there is nothing that has been assigned to me, we were there just out of curiosity.
Shailesh, Nishanth, Manohar Uncle, Ramesh Babai were taking care of all the things…
Following to this, we had been to Pallavi’s home on the same day (01st Feb) in the evening for a small “party”. Last time when we had been there was for Raju & Pallavi’s wedding…
In the night, I came to know that It was Sridevi aunt’s birthday(02nd Feb). We all wished her by the stroke of 12.
02nd Feb:
The next day, the 02nd Feb, a special day for Priya…her wedding day… what I really want to forget about is that the episode of the Vikas lodge, where we were provided with the accommodation. In the morning of 02nd Feb, all the gents were taken to a lodge just to make sure everyone gets ready in time. But the accommodation what was provided was real horrible. It made me think of Salman Khan, who  had to be in a common jail for a month or so in the past, where he had to share a common toilet and wash area with 50-60 people (read this news in some newspapers long long back and felt miserable). The lodge was so horrible and so hell that we can also make some news similar to this… This is nothing less to what the actor had gone through… Not sure why this accommodation was such a horrific.
We had to come out of the lodge in about an hour or so because we could not stay for more than that…
We had been to Ramesh Babai’s home and planned to go to the function hall from here…
Just before we could move to the function hall, we had all stunning looked ladies coming out for a fashion parade and wanted to have their dressings, makeups to go into the memories in the form on the beautiful snaps and obviously, I was the photographer who was completing their wish…
In the meantime, Ramesh Babai was doing the job of shifting the people to the function hall in the batches…
The wedding was a grand event… the marriage was done in a true Maharastrian tradition and I enjoyed explanations on the traditions over there from people like uncle(s) and others all through the process.
As the marriage began, more than anything, people were more interested in taking the snaps in groups, individual but I hardly see very few people, except for the immediate family members of Priya caring about the bride and groom on the stage…All spent time in making the combinations within themselves and taking the pics… I took some pics and l was tired as the combinations looked never ending…
In the middle of the wedding, we had a small party at Thirupathy Babai’s home, whose house is nearby to the function hall. There we met his son, Anurag, who share the same sports profile as Onkar and heard that he was the partner for Onkar in the table soccer. We came back from there to the function hall and had lunch there… the special treatment for me continued, this time by Shailesh and Kala aunty.
In the meantime, once the bride and bridegroom were off the stage for their first lunch together, the celebrations started for Sridevi aunt’s birthday. The cake arrived, stage was set in no time to suit the birthday celebration… The funny part was that we could not get either lighter or the matchbox to lighten the candle on the cake… we were enquiring all the people in the function hall but took a lot of time to get it… Now, Sid wants to blow the candles and cut the cake so he placed himself right next to Sridevi aunt.
Swathi announced in the mike and draw the attention of the people in the function hall, sang “happy Birthday...”.
The timely entertainment came from Ramchandram uncle, who played “Puttina Roju Pandage Andariki..”, old Telugu song from his mobile in the mike…
The special attraction came followed to the Birthday celebration… The Dance event… Swathi ,Shwetha and Guddu were practicing for the event right from the day, they landed in Sholapur… So they arranged all the songs to the one who was the in charge of the mike system.
There were totally 3 songs played and we had different star performers on different songs. Surprisingly we had all ladies on the dance floor including Jyothi aunty and Krishna aunty.
Sid was one of the stars on the dancing floor. His dance on “Chammak Challo” brought many positive comments for him…
The energy levels for the participants on the floor were amazing…!!
In the evening, we had been Priya’s home for “Bidai”, a farewell to Priya from the relatives… Once that was over, we had a nice late night dinner at Madhukar’s (groom) home.
Had some nice time posing puzzles to all kids…
The same night we gave the farewell to Raman uncle at the bus stop of Sholapur… the bus stop as explained earlier, was stinking all over… didn’t look comfortable for at least for a stay of 10 minutes…
The bus arrived almost an hour and half. We were like in the hell until the bus came from Pune.
Before this this, Shailesh and Shresh had to go back to Mumbai as Shreyu had some exams the next day (03rd of Feb). Shailesh had to go so Ramchandram uncle can be here for some doctor advise in Sholapur.
03rd Feb:
Ramesh babai took me for ticket booking for our return journey which is on 04th Feb, made a trip around Sholapur... had been to some temples in the city (Ganesh Temple, Markandeya Temple) and especially the school where aunt (Padma aunty) studied…
Krishnaveni aunt and Sagar uncle gifted Sid with a nice dress from Brindavan,UP. Sid looked amazing in the new outfit.  He looked like a darling and was the center of attraction at Kala aunt’s home… We had lunch here…
In the evening, had been to Surya Gym run by Raju, friend of Ramesh Babai. Rupu, Siddhi and Ramchandram uncle accompanied me to the gym.
Took some nice snaps of Sid in the gym…Got some nice advices from Raju. To me,  it looked as if running a nice gym can be a good business…
Just before we could go to bed, we played all dance videos in the TV…enjoyed comments flown around.
04th Feb:
Purchased bed sheets, Uncle accompanied us. Ramesh Babai took us to some factories for this and on the way, he showed us big swimming pool, where Sid played a lot. He liked to play with the water from the swimming pool. On the way back, we had been to “Siddeshwar temple”. Sid enjoyed feeding the bread pieces to the fishes in the lake, located around the temple. This temple is really nice and Sid in particular seemed to have enjoyed the surroundings over there.
In the afternoon, had been to Gaddam Satyam’s home (he is a family friend) for lunch and came back by 04 in the evening. On the way back, Sagar uncle took us to the his apartment, which is under construction. He got it for a real cheap price…once we reached home; surprisingly, Sid was fighting with Siri, daughter of Krishna aunty and Sagar Babai. I saw Sid beating her for no reason…This is something a shocker for me..!! Later in the evening after some time, Siri came to me and said, “Siddhi is now fine, earlier he was a mad boy”…So, there would have been a compromise between them, which is a good news…
In the evening, Nishanth brought is the dresses, which we gave for stitching from a local tailor, who makes the Jerkins, t-shirts, night dresses for a cheaper price.
We did not attend a party that was organized at Pallavi’s home because of the heavy food we had in the afternoon and non-promising health of mine. Uncle and Aunt had been there. Met Sunny just before we could depart.
All the families departed as per their train / bus timings in the evening leaving the home with no guest…
Ramesh Babai was transporting all as per their timings and finally our turn came by 10 in the night. Ramesh Babai dropped us in the car. We had a huge luggage (The individual packs are 8) but we could somehow manage to make it safe until home. We reached home in the early hours, somewhere around 04 AM the next day.
All-in-all it was a nice funny, memorable trip for my family…
