Rupu was too disappointed but the Ganapathi we bought is too really cute. But in fact we know that it's not the kind of statue you have with you... it's the kind of heart you have for him is what really matters...
This time there was a big campaign in AP to rule out the plaster of paris statues and have the eco friendly clay Ganapathi. Most of the people favoured this and bought clay ones.
Just to add another point here is that Sid was not keeping fine during those days. He had fever, cough for about four days. He had mild cold even before he had his Maleria Vaccine on 27th of August. He suffreed with a lot of pain from the vaccine he had on his right bum. Added to that he had fever non-stop for about 4 days. Had to see doctor for a couple of times. Rupu took care of him very well. She used to wake up during he night hours when ever Sid was crying... She was keeping an eye on his temparature all the night.
Comign back to the day of Ganesh Chathurthi, Rupu did all the jobs to the perfection. Here are some of the pics on that day. We love our Ganapthi and now feeling really bad thinking about his "Nimarjan".
Sid says "Ganapathi Pappa Moria" as we were instaling Ganapathi...
Our first Ganapathi, who is flying on peacock, blessing us...
