A couple of days ago on Saturday when Rupu called up Sridevi teacher, Sid’s play school in charge just to inform that Sid won’t be coming to school for that day as he was just recovering. She said she was actually thinking of calling us to inform that she want to give a stage show with her school kids at Satyam Heights (My colony). She just want to take part on the celebrations that are going on in the colony on the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi.
She wants to have Sid in Krishna’s getup again and she wants to train him for the next couple of days.
We were too felt happy that it would be Sid’s first ever stage show (which came at 2 years, 24 days for him) and also we got another chance for him to see as Chinni Krishna. But what worried me and Rupu was that Sid had his haircut very recently after Janmastami. But thought that’s fine…
On 05th of September in the evening (Monday) by 07 PM the stage show was scheduled. The dais in Satyam Heights is just in front of Vijay’s apartment. I came a bit early just to not to miss out this event and also to meet Chitti and aunty who were here today for a day on their way to Bangalore.
We dropped Sid in the school by 06:30 PM as instructed by this school management and gave a send off to Chitti and Aunty the same time.
We had been to the stage by 07PM and were waiting eagerly for the event to happen.
Sid was passing from just next to us but we managed ourselves to be out of sight for him as this can spoil his performance.
We were ready with handy cam and SLRs to capture the event. At his age, that was a good performance in front of a huge crowd. He was acting as Krishna for the song “Mukunda, Mukunda” from the film “Dasavatharam”. We were proud parents for a moment and felt so happy when we picked him from the stage. Here are those wonderful moments for the blog.
Frankly, what missing in these pics was a smile from Sid. In fact he never slept during the day time which was his routine and was sleepy all the time and tired...
