A Trip to Jammikunta

We had been to Jammikunta on Thursday for Dasara... Rupu in fact wanted us to go there one day before as she wants to attend "Bathukamma Jathara" but due to some reasons at office, I could not take leave on Wednesday.

Looks like my paretns missed Siddhi a lot for this Bathukamma. Last year the same time Sid was with them asking for baloons in the ground to my dad. By then, he was just started to run...This time as Sid was not there for the same festival, he was missing him alot...

My mom won the first prizxe this time for the way she decorated Bathukamma. She won the prize for 2 reasons it seems. one - for the looks and second - for not using the artificial colors. She used all types of colors of flowers to make Bathukamma. She won a pressure cooker for that.

We started from Hyderabad on Thursday by 04:30 AM and reached Jamikunta by 08 AM. The traffic was less so we could use this oppurtunity well to reach home real quick. Due to bus roko owing to "Sakala Janula Samme", there were no busses on the road. People mostly were travelling on bikes to reach their natives for the festival..This is something was real tough choice to make for those people who wants to be home for the festival and no options to rely except for their self owned transport, which is extreamly dangerous...

Sid enjoyed a trip to Gurukulam and had darshan of Maa Saraswathi over there. Dad took him a couple of times on his bike to the roads of Jammikunta. He was so happy and all were so happy to have Sid with them.

They felt even happy when Sid started to show all his talent in Rhymes, talking, Jumping...

The next day we spent some time at uncle's home. My dieting is on hault for this week for which I am not happy.

One Saturday  in the morning we all along withe Uncle had been to Hyd. Started there by 04:30AM and reached Hyd by 09:30 with a couple of breaks on the way.

We had been to KIMS where Mondaiah Thatha's wife is scheduled for a bypass surgery on Monday (tomorrow). We spent for sometime there and returned home by 04 PM via Umi's home and Radhika's home.
