There were lots of expectations from Sid to perform well in the GK round. It was learnt from Sridevi Madam, the principal of the school on Friday evening when we were there at the school that there would be some GK round as part of the anniversary celebrations.
I know he can do well thanks to the coaching being done at home by Rupu. Rupu has been teaching him ever since Sid was 7 months old. I know I need not tell anything to the regular readers of the blog.
So, we were in fact waiting for such a program in the celebrations. After a long long waiting, we could hear the announcement on the show.
There were 5 students and questions are distributed to all the kids. The questions were asked by Eliza teacher.
The first kid in the sequence was Sid. I was too disappointed with the kind of questions asked to Sid…They were in fact cannot be called “G.K. Questions”.
In fact the staff including Sridevi teacher knows the standard of Sid and the kid of wisdom he possesses. Considering that they know Sid, questions asked to Sid made us disappointed…
Here are those questions:
1. Eliza Teacher: Sriram are you ready? Sid: Yes
2. Eliza Teacher: Sriram, what is your name? Sid: Sriram
3. Eliza Teacher: What is your mother name? Sid: Mahesh
4. Eliza Teacher: What is your mamma’s name? Sid: Rupa
5. Eliza Teacher: What is your pappa’s name? Sid: Mahesh
6. Eliza Teacher: who is your principal? Sid: ----
7. Eliza Teacher: who is your teacher? Sid: Sridevi teacher
8. Eliza Teacher: who is your class teacher? Sid: <I could not hear this but he said>
9. Eliza Teacher: what is the name of your school? Sid: Kid z r us
10. Eliza Teacher: What is the name of the security? Sid: Narsimha
Whatever, I was happy that Sid answered all… disappointed because the questions should have come to him didn’t come and questions asked to him were not G.K questions.
No matter, what it was for Sid but it was good that all the kids were amazingly prepared for the program.
